Specialist One to One Study Skills Tutor

Based in Scotland

Due to an exciting period of expansion, we are looking for Specialist One to One Study Skills Tutor’s throughout Scotland, to a number of different Universities.

Supporting the academic progress of students with barriers to learning, you will be an experienced in working with adults or young people in a supportive role. and have specialist knowledge of specific learning difficulties and autism.

As a specialist one to one study skills tutor you will be responsible for providing study skills and disability strategy support to students with specific learning difficulties, autism and a range of other disabilities.

You must have the appropriate professional membership for supporting students with specific learning difficulties of: ADSHE, BDA, Dyslexia Guild or PATOSS.

Specialist Mentor (Mental Health / Autistic Spectrum Conditions)

Based in Scotland

Due to an exciting phase of growth we are looking for Specialist Mentors to provide individual academic and study related support for disabled students, throughout Scotland, to a number of different Universities.

In particular assisting those with mental health difficulties and autistic spectrum conditions. Typically, mentors provide study skills and personal support that will assist students to develop organisational skills and manage their time and workload effectively.

Onsite Setup Engineer

Based in Ely Office

Due to an exciting phase of growth we are looking for 2 x Onsite Set up Engineers. This involves delivering computer equipment to students. The role will involve the following:

·         Assemble the computer and peripherals, ensuring that the printer / scanner powers up

·         Test equipment and if appropriate connect and test the internet

·         Show the customer where to locate and open software

·         Perform an overview of Assistive Technology hardware and Assistive Technology software

·         Provide an introduction to the antivirus and how to renew, if appropriate

·         Show the customer how to perform back ups

·         Install and activate Office 365, and any other preferred university software

·         Transfer of data from an old to new computer if required

·         A clean driving licence is essential.

Assistive Technology Trainer

1 Based in Ely Office - 1 Based in Scotland Office

Due to an exciting phase of growth we are looking for training consultants to join our training services team.

1 position is based in our Ely office, and the other our Scotland office in Rosyth, Fife, you will be delivering Assistive Technology Training on a one to one basis, either remotely or face to face.

The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills and be able to prioritise their own workload. It is imperative you are an effective communicator with excellent customer services skills. Experience in delivering training on a one to one or group basis within a workplace environment is essential.

Relevant qualifications are desirable, but not essential.

All of our training positions are subject to a DBS disclosure.

You may have experience of the following; Workplace Consultant, IT Trainer, Software Trainer, Assistive Technology Trainer, Trainer etc…
