Three dyslexic.com featured products win accolades at the Education Resource Awards!
Education Resource Awards
This year saw many of our top-selling products again recognised at the Education Resource Awards for their innovative approach to enhancing learning. From Early Years reading development to supporting teenagers and adults with their writing tasks, these products highlight the best use of ICT to help dyslexic learners make the most of their abilities. The winners were:

The engaging and entertaining typing tutor came top in the ‘Special Educational Needs Resources and Equipment – using ICT’ Award. This software to support the learning of an important skill provides children with a range of fun activities. It also supports spelling, and the features give good feedback and show where to go next. This enables teachers to personalise and tailor activities to individual needs.

This pack which comes with the Come Alive Phonics software received the ‘Special Educational Needs Resources and Equipment – non ICT’ Award. This multi-sensory resource for teaching letters and sounds is designed to be used flexibly. The judges applauded the way in which it could allow teachers to use it creatively, in a way that suits their own style in the interests of their pupils.

Received the ‘Secondary Resources and Equipment – using ICT’ Award. This was judged an extremely valuable resource for a wide age and ability range. It supports core subject needs with valuable online tools. With their clear presentation, these writing tools would encourage and stimulate writing and the generation of ideas.
