London, UK- Business Disability Forum have named iansyst best SME (small and medium-sized enterprise) in the 2013 Disability Standard which scores organisations’ performance on disability across the whole business from their products and services to recruitment and facilities.

Business Disability Forum found that the accessible technology supplier iansyst performed consistently across the 10 areas of the Disability Standard and demonstrated their endeavours to get disability right across their whole business including their areas of procurement.

iansyst were commended for how they deal with their customers, for example all customer facing staff have received generic disability awareness training; iansyst consults with their customers in regards to their preferences and understands that these may change over time; the company also makes great use of social media and blogs to ensure they are able to be responsive to customers queries.

To increase the awareness and reach of assistive technology iansyst have developed partnerships with mainstream computer manufacturers, such as Toshiba in relation to CapturaTalk for Android™ a literacy support app which assists those with disabilities to access written information, whether it be printed text, emails or online. They have also developed an online format conversion service called azzapt. This downloadable app enables anytime, anywhere access to information in the users preferred format. This is particularly useful for students, or others who have to read documents which may not be initially accessible.
